Landgasthof Forster in Taufkirchen

Fantastic cuisine! A surprise find by my sister, who then kidnapped me there too. My expectations were more than exceeded! And because I read it as negative in another review: A smaller menu shows me that everything is freshly prepared here and you could taste it. I prefer that a thousand times to a 10-page menu, where most of it is then thawed or comes out of the package.

Wonderful, lovingly prepared food at the highest level! A little more expensive, but exclusive! The innkeepers are genuine and with all their heart and soul!

For us the restaurant was nothing and we went again. On the phone we were told there were vegetarian dishes, but there were none. There was nothing for our children either, so who wasn't that good. The drinks menu was about 10 pages long, the menu was only 3. - expensive - little choice - nothing vegetarian + nice ambience

We were at the Landgasthof Forster for Valentine's Day. It was our first visit to this restaurant and definitely not the last one. A 4 course meal + aperitif for € 58 with these portion sizes and product quality is absolutely justified. We have already paid more for less in other upscale restaurants. The menu itself was very consistent and everything cooked to the point. It should be particularly emphasized that Mr. Forster went to every table at the end of the evening and asked whether everything was satisfactory. Please keep it up!

25 years ago we were eating regularly with my grandparents in the restaurant Forster, for a long time I've decided to go there again because you are not spoiled in the district of Erding with a more refined, elegant kitchen and you would like to try something different , I have to pay tribute to the two landlords - If you've been a couple doing gastronomy for 40 years and then you're off the beaten track, that's an achievement! Yesterday afternoon we ate very well, the kitchen is clear and the original taste is in the foreground. One notices that Mr. Forster is inspired by Winkler and Witzigmann. The ambience is rather simple and carries the artistic signature of the owner, you feel good. The greeting from the kitchen - a terrine of pumpkin and cauliflower, served on warm potato bread, pumpkin soup refined with orange juice and the main courses - roe deer and veal were fresh and elegantly prepared, great. Of course that has its price, but that's okay, every businessman has to be able to live. I very much hope that the Forster family will continue for a while and look forward to the next visit.

The two innkeepers operate the restaurant with full passion and this is noticeable with every sip of the kredenzt and with every bite of the taste buds spoiled. From the amuse gueule to the dessert. All star cuisine. Alois Forster is one of the best cooks in southern Germany for me. The wines a pleasure. Everything is regional and super fresh. By the way, if you are looking for cheap and Schnitzel with fries is out of place.

A lot of money for little power. A little friendlier would not be bad either. This is no longer an option for us.
